How Often Signals Update
ThreadSignals updates your Signals automatically based on how they’re configured—either manual or scheduled. Each type runs at different times, but both are designed to maximize efficiency and never waste your credits.
Manual Signals
Manual Signals update every time you click Run.
Each run retrieves the number of posts defined by your Signal’s credit limit.
If exact keyword matches aren’t available, ThreadSignals uses smart matching to find posts that closely align with your keywords and goals. It can also pull partial matches when relevant.
If fewer posts are found than your set limit, you’ll only be charged credits for the posts actually retrieved—so you’ll never waste credits on empty runs.
Scheduled Signals
Scheduled Signals (available on Takeoff and Ascent plans) run automatically every 24 hours (PST) until paused or deleted.
If your account doesn’t have enough credits for a scheduled run—for example, if you have 5 credits remaining but the Signal requires 10—it will pause automatically and retry during the next 24-hour cycle once credits become available or your plan is upgraded.
Pro Tip
Keep an eye on your remaining credits in the bottom-right corner of your dashboard to ensure scheduled Signals continue running smoothly.
