What is ThreadSignals and How Does it Work?

ThreadSignals helps you uncover real-time buying intent by collecting posts from Reddit (and other sources in the future) where people discuss topics relevant to your business.

By setting up Signals, you can automatically track keywords, phrases, or questions that indicate potential customer interest—then view all matching posts directly in your dashboard.

How ThreadSignals Works

1. Create a Signal

A Signal is what you create to monitor specific keywords across online platforms. Each Signal listens for the words or phrases you define—helping you identify posts that align with your target market or service offering.

For example, if your business helps with SEO, you might create Signals around phrases like “need help with rankings” or “SEO advice”. Every time those keywords appear in a post, ThreadSignals detects and logs them for you automatically.

2. Scanning and Collection

Once a Signal is live, ThreadSignals continuously scans Reddit for any new posts that match your keywords.
You can choose to:

  • Run Signals manually for instant, live results, or

  • Schedule automatic runs that collect new posts daily.

Each time a match is found, it’s added to your Posts tab so you can review it later.

3. Review and Respond

Your dashboard organizes all collected posts in one place. From there, you can sort, filter, and open posts to see the full context, helping you decide which ones are worth engaging with.

Many users use these posts to identify potential leads, partnerships, or conversations that align with their goals.

Future Sources

Currently, ThreadSignals scans Reddit.

In future updates, it will also support additional platforms such as Quora, X (Twitter), and niche online communities—expanding your reach beyond a single source.
